Marriage

Preparations for the celebration of the Sacrament of Marriage should begin at least six months before the anticipated date of your wedding.  Please call the parish office before entering into a contract with a wedding venue, as there is a chance the Church will have already been booked for a parish event or another wedding.

Weddings may be scheduled by registered parishioners or graduates of the Schools of the Sacred Heart (grammar and high school).

Weddings are typically celebrated on Friday or Saturday afternoons.  Friday weddings may take place any time after 12 noon and Saturday weddings from 12 noon through 2:00 pm.  Saturday weddings may not be scheduled after 2:00 pm due to the regularly scheduled Sacrament of Reconcilation at 3:30.  Weddings are typically not scheduled on Sundays.  Weddings are never celebrated during the Season of Lent.
