Mass of the Sacred Heart

The Mass of the Sacred Heart was composed by Andrew Bauer, and commissioned by Magnificat Magazine in June of 2010.

The setting of this Mass uses the new translation of the Roman Missal, which is to be fully implemented on the First Sunday of Advent, 2011 in North America.

The Mass of the Sacred Heart has been carefully constructed to be accessible and singable by untrained singers in the congregation, while accommodating a variety of choral and instrumental ensembles, including traditional organ, contemporary piano, guitar, and treble instruments such as flute or violin. Optional string, brass and timpani parts are also available.
