The abuse of children is a crime and grave sin against the dignity of the human person created in the image and likeness of God. Sacred Heartparish is committed to creating an environment of safety and health for children and young people. We are committed to preserving their dignity and innocence before God, and to protecting them from harm. The Safe Environment program of the Archdiocese of New York provides resources for education on this issue, as well as confidential means to raise concerns and to assist victims.
Everyone has the right to expect that the clergy, ministers, volunteers and employees of Sacred Heart parish live and work by the codes of conduct of the Safe Environment program of the Archdiocese of New York.
